At the very beginning, without the experience, we thought our surrogacy agency would be responsible for the whole journey management, like a wedding planner.
They weren’t, and it’s normal!
Little by little, we discovered all the different layers that they weren’t going to manage:
the choice and management of the IVF clinic, the legal procedures: attorney choices (for you and surrogate), surrogate agreement advices, surrogate parentage procedure, contract reading expertise... the health procedures: insurance, doctor appointment management, hospital management, social service management...
the nationality procedures: the American passport obtention, the Brazilian and French nationality obtention...
All of this we had to do it by ourselves.

Moreover, we lacked a real risk evaluation of each step and an advice on budgeting the journey with a certain accuracy.
That’s how the idea of proposing this service came to place. To be engaged on proposing something that we wanted to have, but couldn’t find.
